6Music was forced to apologise this week, after following a news bulletin about Oscar Pistorius being arrested for the suspected murder of his girlfriend with an airing of Jimi Hendrix's version of "Hey Joe". The lyrics, in case you've forgotten, read as follows: "Yeah, I'm going down to shoot my old lady / You know I caught her messing around with another man / And that ain't cool...". Whoops!
