After 2Pac’s mind-boggling ‘appearance’ at Coachella last year, we’ve all been wondering who would be the next dead musician to be brought back from the grave hologrammatically.

Well, turns out a living artist has stolen a march on all of them. Canada’s Feist has utilised the technology to perform three simultaneous gigs across the country, in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. In her words, “To get a chance to be a hologram is kind of playing into every childhood fantasy dream of the magic of smoke and mirrors, and really lives up to a lot of my dreams in terms of the things I have been trying to do live for years”. It makes you wonder just how many places you could play at once using holograms. It’ll definitely make the logistics of the next Live Aid a hell of a lot easier…
