A chance to see former Stereolab singer Lætitia Sadier in intimate surroundings this Thursday, as she plays The Water Rats in Kings Cross with a healthy support bill put together by Symptomatic Presents.

Despite well-received collaborations with Mouse On Mars and Deerhunter off-shoot Atlas Sound, Sadier admitted to uncertainty as to whether people would care about second solo album “Silencio”: “I didn’t know if anyone would want to put out my record or if anyone would be interested. But now it feels very good and I’m looking forward to playing shows again. And I’m curious to see how I am welcomed by people. It’s been a while, so I hope they welcome me.”

We’re pretty sure they will, and London post-rock 3-piece The Enters should also be guaranteed a warm reception – their formidable, fuzz-drenched songs may suggest a lot of time spent shoe-gazing, but their sights are set firmly upwards…

In fact, we'd be going just to see them, so the fact Tamaryn is there too makes this pretty damn unmissable...
