Forget the Bowie exhibition, legendary noise-mongers Napalm Death are the latest musical attraction to storm the V&A on Friday 22nd March. They’ll be playing through a “clay sound system” devised by ceramics artist Keith Harrison, apparently. Can’t see that lasting long.

Ai Weiwei to Release Heavy Metal Album

The Chinese artist claims his new musical direction stems from being asked to sing a song by guards while imprisoned in China, and realising he didn't know any. Making up for lost time, he's decided to cover every genre possible on his forthcoming album: "Some are like heavy metal, some are more punkish, and some are more pop," he explains, while it looks like Elton John will be the lucky recipient of the first copy...
